Located at 2 impasse Roche Fontaine, on France's Côte d'Émeraude, at Dinard, in the residential district of La Malouine, the villa "Rochefontaine" is a majestic mansion dating back to 1870.
"Rochefontaine" is among the 400 villas classified in the Architectural Heritage list and bears witness to the splendours of yesteryear as well as to the English presence here. This seaside resort which has in the past welcomed royalty, now presents high quality infrastructures and activities such as: golf course, racecourse, casino, British film festival, etc...
Just a few yards on foot from the town centre and the "Écluse" beach, the villa provides an ideal situation for rental. So, you can stroll around the centre of town, roam down the path along the edge of the fine sand beach, explore the lively cafés, welcoming restaurants and a prestigious casino.
The villa presents prestigious surroundings: its layout and services are remarkable for sharing moments of conviviality as a family or among friends, for celebrating christenings, weddings and end of year festivities, or again for holding seminars and business meetings.
Depending on the time of year, a week's rental of the villa varies between 3,200 and 4,700 euros.
It has been able to conserve the charm of the seaside resorts from the good old days. There are many walks that bear witness to the prestige of this seaside resort.
It is from Saint Malo, just opposite Dinard, every 4 years, that the start of this single-handed transatlantic yacht race takes place. It is run from Saint Malo to Pointe-à-Pître and most likely takes its name from its destination. Next November 2014, the 10th edition of this race will bring together all those keen on sailing and strong sensations.
Since 1990, at the initiative of Thierry de La Fournière, the British Film Festival is held here with 6 films entering into competition. The best film wins the Golden Hitchcock which is awarded by a jury of celebrities. This festival follows a long tradition of sharing and open-mindedness.
